Hi, I'm Hayley Jones
I offer assessments and training solutions for dog behaviour issues. My speciality is supporting rescue dogs, shelter dogs and dogs who are especially anxious or struggle with reactivity, but I love working with all dogs.
My background is in supporting humans, and I have experience working with vulnerable people and victim/survivors of domestic abuse. I also have a qualification in Counselling Skills from the University of Strathclyde.
I am a qualified canine behaviourist (ISCP.Dip.Canine.Prac) with the International School of Canine Psychology. I have been supporting rescue adopters for the wonderful charity Barking Mad Dog Rescue for several years. In addition to this, I lead the charity's adoption team to bring rescued Romanian dogs to U.K. homes.
I have two Romanian dogs of my own - Dylan and Sia - who are the inspiration and chief mascots for Positive Direction! I'm based in Falkirk, Scotland but I specialise in remote training sessions, so can work with you and your dog regardless of your location
I use only force-free methods and positive reinforcement - I do not support the use of aversive techniques or devices.
